Ridden Shetland Ponies - Saturday 18 May Judge: Mr V B Rees, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire (Hasguard). This class is open to both Standard & Miniature Shetland Ponies & is run under the rules of the Shetland Pony Stud Book Society. All animals must be registered in the Shetland Pony Stud Book (see Reg. 36). Children under 12 years old on the day of the Show may not show entire males in this class. SPSBS rules require hard hats to be worn by all exhibitors in ridden classes. Their rules also require that if a rider falls off at any time whilst in the ring, both pony & rider must leave the ring, rider dismounted and take no further part. Handlers of lead rein exhibits are reminded that they should not kneel but remain standing while in the ring.
