Miniature Shetland Ponies - Saturday 18 May Judge: Mrs R Rees, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire (Hasguard). These classes are run under the rules of the Shetland Pony Stud Book Society. Animals must be registered in the Shetland Pony Stud Book (see Reg.36). To compete in this section ponies must not exceed or be expected to exceed 34 inches at maturity. These classes are qualifiers for the NPS/Equestrian Marketplace M&M In Hand Summer Championship. Owners do not have to be NPS members to enter these classes but only ponies owner by NPS Qualifying or Life Members can qualify for the final. The highest placed pony in each classes owned by an NPS member will qualify for the final. If the first has already qualified then the second may qualify (as long as they are NPS members), if the first and second have qualified then the third may qualify (as long as they are NPS members). Qualification may go no lower than third place. To receive qualification owner's membership cards must be shown in the ring.
