706 Ladies Side Saddle Horse

Ladies Side Saddle Show Horse - Thursday 16 May Judges: Mrs A Pritchard (Ride) Mrs J Jefferson, Harrogate, North Yorkshire. (Conformation) This class is a qualifying event for Horse of the Year Show, NEC, Birmingham, 2nd-6th October 2019. Horses must be registered with the British Show Horse Association and all Owners, Producers & Riders must be members of the British Show Horse Association. Riders must be 15 years of age or older. Registration numbers must be quoted on the entry form. This class is open to Hunters, Hack, Cobs/Maxi & Riding Horses to be ridden by a lady side saddle. Each exhibit will be judged on type and suitability as a side saddle animal. Exhibits will be required to gallop/extend during the Go Round phase. This class is a qualifier for the Horse of the Year Show. This class will be run in accordance with the general rules as set out in the Horse of the Year Show rulebook, a copy of which can be downloaded from www.hoys.co.uk. The first prize winner will qualify to compete at the final. If already qualified the second horse will qualify, if the first and second are already qualified then the third will go forward. No horse lower than fifth place will qualify. Qualification will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show office. Horses competing at the Horse of the Year Show and qualifying shows in the Hunter Sections of the Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain classes at their Affiliated Shows cannot compete in Hack, Cobs & Riding Horse classes at the same show, on the same day and vice versa. This does not apply to SHB(GB) Ridden Sport Horse classes.
