Connemara Ponies - In Hand
Connemara Ponies - In Hand - Friday 17 May Judge: Mr M R Jones, Cwmbran, Gwent. Ponies must be registered in the appropriate section of the British Connemara Pony Society (BCPS) Stud Book or a stud book of another approved Connemara Pony Society. Ponies must not exceed 148cms at any age. Colts or Stallions three years old or over must be registered as Stallions in the BCPS Stud Book or the Stud Book of a recognised Connemara Pony Society. Mare & Geldings four years old & over must be registered as an adult pony in the BCPS Stud Book or the Stud Book of a recognised Connemara Pony Society. Animals must be registered as Class 1 or Class 2. These classes are qualifiers for the Tam O'Shanter Championship - sponsored by Eastern Connemara Group. The three highest placed yearling, two year old, three year old and the highest placed mare, will qualify for the Tam O'Shanter Championship finals to be held at the British Connemara Pony Society Annual Breed Show on Saturday 13th July 2019 at Vale View Equestrian Centre near Melton Mowbray. Qualification cards must not be passed down lower than 6th place. These classes are qualifiers for the NPS/Equestrian Marketplace M&M In Hand Summer Championship. Owners do not have to be NPS members to enter these classes but only ponies owner by NPS Qualifying or Life Members can qualify for the final. The highest placed pony in each classes owned by an NPS member will qualify for the final. If the first has already qualified then the second may qualify (as long as they are NPS members), if the first and second have qualified then the third may qualify (as long as they are NPS members). Qualification may go no lower than third place. To receive qualification owner's membership cards must be shown in the ring. FOALS MUST BE FIVE WEEKS OLD ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW. |
