Shire Horse of the Year Qualifier - Friday 17 May Judge: Mr S Ledsham, Church Stretton, Shropshire. SHIRE HORSE OF THE YEAR QUALIFING CLASS This class is a qualifier for the Shire Horse of the Year Championship, to be held at the Horse of the Year Show on 2nd-6th October 2019 at NEC, Birmingham. This class is open to pure bred fully registered Shires (Grade A or B animals are not eligible to compete in this class) of two years old and over entered and exhibited in their appropriate breed classes at the Devon County Show. All Shires must be entered under the registered owner's name. Due to regulations imposed by the Horse of the Year Show a £13.00 levy will be charged on all entries in addition to the entry fee.
