Judge:

These classes are run under the rules of the Shetland Pony Stud Book Society. Animals must be registered in the Shetland Pony Stud Book. To compete in this section ponies must not exceed or be expected to exceed 34 inches at maturity. Three year old fillies with foals at foot may not be shown. All entire males aged two years and over must display a stallion disc. Children under 14 years old may not show colts or entire males in in-hand classes.

SPSBS Rules require that exhibitors should not kneel but remain standing while in the ring and all handlers aged 14 years or under must wear a hard hat.

These classes are qualifiers for the NPS/HorseQuest M&M In Hand Summer Championship. Owners do not have to be NPS members to enter these classes but only ponies owned by NPS Qualifying or Life Members can qualify for the final. The highest placed pony in each class owned by an NPS member will qualify for the final. If the first has already qualified then the second may qualify (as long as they are NPS members), if the first and second have qualified then the third may qualify (as long as they are NPS members). Qualification may go no lower than third place. To receive qualification owner's membership cards must be shown in the ring.

The right is reserved to amalgamate or divide classes if numbers forward dictate.
