Judge: Entry Fees inc VAT - Members £18, Non Members £23 Prize Money - Open to ridden hunters of all types, owned and ridden by bona fide residents in the county of Devon. Horses do not have to be registered with Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain or the British Show Horse Association. Once a horse has won the Local Hunter class it will not be eligible to compete in the class again. The winner and second placed exhibit from the Local Hunter class will go forward to the Ridden Hunter Championships. BSHA Rising Star Qualifier The highest placed eligible Horses and Riders not already qualified in the Rising Star classes, will qualify for the Rising Star Finals, to be held at The BSHA National Championship Show in September 2022. The Judges will not ride the exhibits in qualifiers but the judge will ride at the finals. Open to Non-Members and those with no more than three years BSHA Membership. Owners, Riders and Horses, are not required to be Members of the British Show Horse Association in-order to compete in the BSHA Rising Star qualifying classes, the Rising Star Finals will require a day ticket Riders must not have competed at The Royal International Horse Show or The Horse of the Year Show, with the exception of the BSHA RIHS Amateur classes pre-2022 or SEIB Search for a Star. Open to Horses which are stabled at home or in a DIY or non-showing yard. Horses to be ridden by an Amateur, please see the current BSHA Rule Book; this does not exclude No Professional is allowed to ride, to work-in (in any form), compete, or enter the Ring to groom/strip the Horse. The Supreme Final will be held at the BSHA National Championship Show, with a prelim judging and final championship. A bursary of £200 kindly donated by the Talbot Family will be presented to the winner to be used with a BSHA Accredited Trainer of their choice. |
