Judges: Entry Fees inc VAT - Members £46, Non Members £52 Fees include £16 HOYS Contribution Prize Money - This Class is a qualifier for Horse of the Year Show, NEC Birmingham, 4th - 8th October 2023. Horses must be registered with British Show Horse Association, The Show Ring Register or Sport Horse Breeding GB and all owners, producers and riders must be members of British Show Horse Association, The Show Ring Register or Sport Horse Breeding GB. Riders must be 15 years of age or older. Registration numbers must be quoted on entry form. This class will be run in accordance with the general rules as set out in the Horse of the Year Show rulebook, available at www.hoys.co.uk. The first prize winner will qualify to compete at the final. If already qualified the second horse will qualify, if the first and second horse are already qualified then the third will go forward and so on to fifth place. No horse lower than fifth place will qualify, Qualification will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show office. The entry fee includes a £16 contribution to the Horse of the Year Show. All data given upon entry of this class is provided to Grandstand Media Limited and stored on the Grandstand Entries System. For full policy details please visit www.grandstandentries.com A skull cap or a hat and safety harness according to the current approved BSI or European Standard must be worn by ALL competitors in the jumping phase of Working Hunter classes. Skull caps must have a navy blue or black cover. Horses may be equipped with boots of a plain colour for the jumping phase only. Rigid or weighted hind boots are not allowed. No hind boots or bandages of any description are allowed in the collecting ring, warm up or actual class. Any horse which has qualified as a Grade A Show Jumper or Advanced Event Horse as at 1st January in the current year is not eligible to compete in Working Hunter classes. |
