Judge: Entry Fees inc VAT - Members £30, Non Members £36 Prize Money - Animals entered in this class must be registered in the Exmoor Pony Society section of the NPS Stud Book or section 1 of the Exmoor Pony Society Stud Book. The BSPS Heritage Ridden Championship This class has been nominated as the Exmoor Pony Semi-Final Qualifier for the Semi Final of the BSPS Breed Heritage Mountain & Moorland Ridden Classes. The first and second prizewinners from this class will qualify for the Semi-Final to be held at the British Show Pony Society 'Heritage' Championship Show. Ponies, owners & riders do NOT need to be registered with the British Show Pony Society to compete in this class. Once qualified the pony, owner and rider must be registered with the BSPS to compete at the Semi-Final. Further information regarding this qualifier can be obtained from the British Show Pony Society website (www.bsps.com) or by phoning their office on 01487 831376. Classes will be judged under B.S.P.S. rules as per the 2023 B.S.P.S. Rule & Show Handbook. Animals must be the correct height for the breed as laid down in the individual breed standards. To be on judged on a 50/50 marks system. 50 marks - Show/Freedom of Action 50 marks - Breed Type/Conformation These classes are qualifiers for the NPS/Ringside M&M Open Ridden Summer Championship. Owners do not have to be NPS members to enter these classes but only ponies owned by NPS Qualifying or Life Members can qualify for the final. The highest placed pony, if owned by an NPS member, in each class will qualify for the final. Qualification may pass down to third place if the first and second ponies are already qualified to receive qualification owner's membership cards must be shown in the ring.
