Steak Burger Steak and Burger Champion

This competition is to find the tastiest steak and the most delicious and attractive burger, therefore greater emphasis will be given to the taste and appearance of the product, rather than technical marks for construction. Judges: Chris Riddle - Chairman of The Royal Smithfield Club and Secretary of Royal Cornwall Show. Dave Haggett - Award winning butcher from Exeter Entry Fee - £5 per class Prizes Champion £40 and Champion Rosette Reserve Champion £20 and Reserve Champion Rosette 1st - £8 and Gold Award Card 2nd - Silver Award Card Third - Bronze Award Card Winners in each class will have an "Agrifest Winner" sticker/logo to use on their products. Notes: 1 - Each steak entry is to be 8oz of steak, sent raw. 2 - Each burger entry is to be a total weight of 8oz and must comprise of at least two burgers (i.e. 4oz each). 3 - The entries will be blind judged and tasted. 4 - Packaging is not vital but will be judged if there is a joint winner. 5 - The first and second prize winners in each class will be put forward to the Championship to find the overall Champion and Reserve Champion Steak/Burger.
